After weeks of Friday night lights, big efforts, and cheering each other on, it’s normal to feel a little bit of a letdown. The energy was high, the workouts were intense, and there was always something to look forward to each week.
But here’s the good news—this is where the real progress begins.
Back to Structure (In the Best Way)
During the Open, workouts are all about testing—pushing your limits and seeing what you’re capable of. Now, we shift back into training with purpose.
That means:
- More structured strength work
- Progressions and skill-building
- Intentional programming designed for long-term results
This is where you take everything you learned during the Open and start improving on it.
Time to Build
Maybe you discovered a weakness—double unders, pull-ups, overhead strength, or engine. The Open has a way of shining a light on those things.
Now is your opportunity to work on them without the pressure of a weekly test.
- Struggled with gymnastics? We’ll build it.
- Barbell feel heavy? We’ll get stronger.
- Conditioning fell off? We’ll improve your engine.
Progress doesn’t come from testing—it comes from training.
Consistency Over Intensity
The Open brings out your highest intensity—and that’s great. But now it’s time to focus on consistency.
Showing up 3–5 days a week.
Putting in quality effort.
Trusting the process.
That’s what leads to real, lasting results.
Keep the Energy Going
Just because the Open is over doesn’t mean the community aspect goes away. If anything, this is when it matters most.
Keep showing up for each other.
Keep pushing each other.
Keep celebrating the small wins.
The Open may be a few weeks out of the year, but your fitness journey is year-round.
What Should You Expect?
You should expect to:
- Get stronger
- Move better
- Build confidence
- See steady progress over time
And most importantly—you should expect to keep having fun with it.
The Work Doesn’t Stop Here
If the Open showed you anything, it’s that you’re capable of more than you think.
Now it’s time to take that momentum and turn it into real progress.
Trust the process. Stay consistent. And let’s get to work.
